Our History

A.W.M Dickinson & Son is a general practice law firm located in Sydney's CBD. It was established by Arnold Wallace McKenzie Dickinson in 1929 in Castlereagh Street, Sydney. His son, Bruce Wallace Arnold Dickinson, joined the firm in 1954 as an articled clerk before practising as a solicitor for over 40 years. Arnold and Bruce's heritage lives on in the firm.

Now located in Pitt Street, Sydney, grandson Andrew maintains and continues the tradition of personal attention and quality legal service.

Today

Andrew Wallace Bruce Dickinson was born in 1965. After leaving school in 1983, Andrew worked for A.W.M Dickinson & Son whilst completing a diploma at the Solicitors' Admission Board. Andrew was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1990.

On admission, Andrew worked for a couple of years in the country as a solicitor in general practice, before returning to join his father Bruce in partnership in 1992. Andrew became the sole principal of the firm in 2004.
